Yu Jianhua, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Deputy China International Trade Representative, and Chervyakov, Minister of Economy of Belarus, Co-Chaired the 13th Meeting of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Coordination Working Group

On the afternoon of October 30, Yu Jianhua, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy China International Trade Representative, and Chervyakov, Minister of Economy of Belarus, co-chaired virtually the 13th meeting of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Coordination Working Group. Snopkov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The two sides spoke positively of the achievements made in the first five years of the development of the China-Belarus Industrial Park and exchanged views on the continuation of joint efforts to promote the construction of the China-Belarus Industrial Park against the background of the pandemic.

Yu Jianhua said, five years ago, the two presients personally inspected the industrial park and pointed out the direction for the development of the park. The two sides should continue to fully implement the important consensus of the two presidents, further optimize the business environment in the park; focus on the second five-year "quality" development, and continue to form industrial clustering effect in the park; dig deep into the potential for innovative development; take effective policy measures together, solve the difficulties and problems of enterprises, improve the financing support system in the park, continue to do a good job in the security and pandemic response in the park, and make the industrial park a model project of greater market competitiveness and international influence.

Snopkov and Chervyakov said that the relevant departments and agencies of the two countries are working hard to promote the construction of the industrial park, and by the end of 2020 Belarus will issue a new version of the presidential decree on the park, which will provide a better business environment.
